6X6 Chicken Coop & Duck House
Designed for Comfort and Durability
Our 6×6 Chicken Coop paired with a 15 ft run and a 5×5 Duck House provides ample space for your chickens and ducks to roam, relax, and thrive. Crafted from high-quality materials, this setup ensures durability and low maintenance, making it an ideal home for your feathered companions.
Spacious Layout for Happy Birds
The ergonomic design includes a generous 15 ft run, offering your chickens a secure environment to move freely while staying protected. The complementary 6X6 Chicken Coop & Duck House is tailored for ducks, ensuring their comfort and ease while enhancing liveability in one cohesive space.
Perfect for Backyard Farmers
Whether you’re a seasoned poultry keeper or just starting out, this combined structure is all you need for a functional and aesthetically pleasing setup. With plenty of room for nesting, roosting, and activity, your birds will stay healthy and happy all year-round.
Built With Real, Pressure-Treated Lumber
We don’t use thin fir or pallet wood that warps and rots after one rainy season. Our 6X6 Chicken Coop & Duck House frames are built from thick, pressure-treated lumber and exterior-grade plywood that is rated for 15+ years outdoors.
Four-Season Ventilation System
Chickens die from ammonia buildup and heat more than cold. Our 6X6 Chicken Coop & Duck House have high, draft-free ventilation gaps under the roofline that constantly pull moist, ammonia-filled air out without blowing directly on your hens. No frostbite in winter, no heatstroke in summer.
Easy 5-Minute Cleaning
We hated cleaning coops too. That’s why we added, a linoleum-coated floor that you can scrape clean, and human-height doors. No more crawling inside on your hands and knees.
No Gaps, No Mites, No Drafts
Every joint is sealed; every corner is reinforced. Mites and lice love to hide in cracks. Our tongue-and-groove construction eliminates those hiding spots, making your coop healthier and easier to treat.
Correct Space Per Bird
The industry lie is “this coop holds 8 chickens” when it barely fits 3. We follow the real standard: 4 sq ft inside per bird and 10 sq ft in the run. Less stress, less pecking, more eggs. Our customers see fewer fights and healthier feathers.
Elevated Design to Prevent Rot and Rodents
Our coops are raised 12-18 inches off the ground. This stops wood rot from ground moisture, prevents rats from nesting underneath, and gives your chickens a shaded, dry spot to hang out during rain.
Automatic Door Ready
Every coop comes pre-framed for an automatic chicken door. If you work late or want to sleep in, you can add an auto-door in 10 minutes without drilling new holes or weakening the structure.
Nest Boxes That Actually Work
Our nest boxes are dark, private, and slightly sloped. Hens feel safe laying, eggs roll gently away from feet so they don’t get cracked or eaten, and you can collect from outside without disturbing the flock.
Roost Bars Where They Should Be
Chickens want to roost high and flat-footed. Our roost bars are 2x4s with the wide side up, rounded edges, higher than the nest boxes, and removable for cleaning. This prevents bumblefoot and frostbitten toes.
Weather-Proof Roofing
We use real asphalt shingles or metal roofing, not thin felt or tarp. No leaks, no drips, and it reflects summer heat to keep the interior 15 degrees cooler.
Predator-Proof Latches
Raccoons can open simple hooks and slide bolts. We use double-locking, carabiner-style predator latches on every single door. If a 5-year-old can’t open it, a raccoon can’t either.
Designed by People Who Actually Own Chickens
This isn’t a factory in China copying a picture. We keep Silkies, Orpington’s, and Ragdolls ourselves. Every feature comes from a problem we personally dealt with.
No Assembly Nightmare
Forget the 200-piece kit with missing screws. Our coops ship 90% pre-assembled. You just attach the run and roof. Most customers have it up in under 90 minutes with just a drill.
